It all began in the 1980’s when Neil Thelen decided to leave the corporate world of 3-piece suits and (quite literally!) get into a grass roots business of his own. Landmark Landscapes quickly made its mark as one of in the South’s most trusted and most accomplished commercial landscape companies, specializing in multifamily communities. A decade later, Neil’s sons, Mark and John, joined the prospering business and expanded into South Carolina and North Carolina.

Today, Landmark is part of one of the most dynamic family of landscape companies in the nation that along with the team at Landmark includes Yardnique, Naturescapes, Phoenix Landscaping, and Trimac Outdoor. Collectively, we have expert landscape teams across the Southeast including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
